I will give her vineyards from there, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope; and she will respond there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

In verses verse 18 the covenant of God, animals and humans once includes the creeping things, and protects humans from the sword. This covenant is throughout the Bible Genesis 9:8-13 and Matthew 26 v28. The promise of God is for all creation - all who have a soul that God created.
