In driving out sellers of doves from the Temple Jesus is says it is not holy to kill the animal for sacrifice. That is the purpose for which doves were sold in the Temple at that time. In verse 13 , the den of robbers or thieves also translates as den of killers.
The money aspect of the doves being sold is also important as selling the souls of God's creation is not what He created life for.
Jesus was not afraid to show anger against the hypocrisy, though He knew that by doing so He also would be suffering punishment to fulfil the scriptures.Matthew 26:54-55
The parable in verse 33-44 tells us how a beautiful vineyard was again and again subjected to corruption and killing by those in charge of it. Finally a Son was sent and still the owners killed Him. This Son was Jesus and the vineyard the land of fruits God designed for people. When Jesus refers to Psalm 118 as well as saying to the Pharisees that His power will overcome, He also predicting His own binding and sacrifice on the cross as well.
